It looks the same/similar to me, just a smaller canister, but it came with a lot of warnings about only using it for dry ingredients and by running it for longer than 1 min or something like that (I didn't actually read the warning oops!). We got it mostly because I didn't want to ruin my very expensive blender haha. DH uses it to make his protein shakes and various other nasty bodybuilding treats and I use it for DS.
