I love, love, loved my 3d/4d ultrasound. It was included as part of the study the hospital was conducting but I hope I am able to get one of any subsequent babies too! I didn't feel like it spoiled anything (some people argue there is no surprise when you see baby - um, hello, who cares? i'm psyched to see my baby no matter what!!). That's amazing- I definitely didn't get any pictures that clear. She is adorable already-- after she is born I hope you post comparison pictures so we can see how much she really looks like the u/s.</p> <p>The only feature I could tell on our U/S (mostly regular with just a minute or two of the 3D) was that baby has my feet-- DH's big toe is the longest, but my second toe is longer than the big toe, and baby seems to have a longer second toe. Not that I am biased or anything. lol.</p> <p>Seeing her face was so surreal. It just made us that much more ready for her to finally be here. Her face is squished up against my stomach so it was hard to get clear shots. It also didn't help that she kept covering her face with her hands. I ate a bunch of sugar beforehand and the child slept right through the sugar rush and pictures darn it! But she is still adorable nonetheless. </p> <p>The second her face showed up in the screen Mr. Hedgie couldn't stop talking about how beautiful she is and couldn't take his eyes off her. I think I saw a few tears but it was hard to tell. He swears he didn't cry but I think he did. </p> <p>It is so fun to already start picking out which features she has from whom and who she looks more like. She definitely has his chin and my nose. That is about as far as we can gleam at this point.
