I did this exact same thing yesterday (painted brass and white wash) I don't have a good before picture right this second (on my phone) here is the after (still need to mount the TV on top). Instantly gratifying!! So much better than that ugly red brick and even uglier brass (even though its making a comeback lol)</p> <p>ETA- I did a half and half ratio because I wanted a lighter look... just enough to still show the texture of the brick. We did two coats. It really brightened up our area!</p> <p>We used a 3:1 ratio and did two coats. There's a tutorial on infarrantly creative-you brush it on and then dab and wipe with a towel. DH took the doors off and I took them outside and solvent cleaned, taped, and sprayed.
