House hunting is such a rollercoaster. By the time we found our current house we had looked at so many and had bidding wars on a few so I felt completely numb about it. But although I do sometimes think about those other houses, I'm still pretty happy with the one we bought. We bumped our offer up a little bit, but we are still asking for closing costs.</p> <p>We aren't asking for the seller to pay for a home warranty anymore because our agent says she will purchase one for us. Offer is still contingent on a home inspection, termite inspection, financing, and appraisal. I think it was priced a little high based on the comps that we looked at when we were making our offer. Inventory is pretty low in our area so a lot of listings are getting multiple offers.</p> <p>With the roof and the plumbing it needs like $18k in repairs sooner rather than later. DH and I will have to talk it over. I am not willing to go too much higher than what we originally offered.
