The final straw was realizing I bought the stupid KA mixer as basically counter "art". I have made 2 batches of cupcakes in the damn thing .. when a hand mixer would suffice (which I also have). I am not hardcore enough to need it. Luckily it will last a really long time (it better!) so hopefully it will get more use in the years to come...sorry side rant. We are trying to cut back as we are saving for some long term goals (future mat leave for me since I am self employed). </p> <p>Today was the first day we both didn't buy ANYTHING all day (coffee/brekky/lunches) we normally both buy coffee and our lunch ..every.day... Ridiculous, I know. They were super cute too!!! Flexible sole, gold thong sandals with a one gemstone bling embellishment. *sob*<br /> DH later on said he was proud of me for putting it back. He also put back something and it's something we've been looking for <i>years</i> for! And it was on the clearance rack!</p> <p>Sigh.
