I wouldn't even worry about it yet. At 11 months, we started offering WCM with meals so she would get use to it. She then dropped her afternoon bottles, no interest in them at all. Then after she turned 1 we cold turkey dropped her morning and night bottle (most nights she didn't drink all of her night one anyway)

She's 8 months old. I really wouldn't worry about this yet. We didn't even begin weaning her onto milk until she was 11 months.

Xander had BM in a bottle, but we didn't try to wean him until he turned one. Then we just removed one bottle a week and replaced it with the same amount of BM in a sippy until he was completely off bottles. It took him a couple weeks to adjust and ended up not drinking as much for a few weeks, but after a couple weeks, he's back to drinking a decent amount, solely from sippies!

Hopefully @Smurfette will chime in because I know at some point, she switched her daughter to having 3-4 bottles a day before she weaned off bottles. I'm not sure what age she did that or how much in each bottle though!

S has dropped down to 3x 8oz bottles per day now that we are doing 2 full meals. Are you doing solids before milk or after? That made a huge difference for us.

I'd take it slowly, who cares whether she still has a bottle or two at 13/14 months... Just go with your gut and if that tells you that she's not ready, she probably isn't.

E's still on two bottles a day. She wouldn't touch a sippy cup at 8 months. It was only about a month...maybe two months ago...that she was interested in other cups

LO is 8 months old now and still has 5 bottles a day in addition to her solids:

Breakfast - Porridge & 240ml formula

Morning snack - Solids plus 240ml formula

Lunch - Solids plus 240ml formula

Dinner - Solids plus 240ml formula

Bedtime - 240ml formula

She also has sips of water with her meals.

She rarely drinks the whole 240ml formula but sometimes she does. She doesnt always eat much in the way of solids, either (but maybe she would without the milk?).

Anyway, I seem to recall my BFF weaning her baby off his last bottle when he turned one. That's only 4 months away and we're still on 5 milk feeds.....! Is that normal?!

When should I start replacing her bottles with formula in sippy cups? She will currently take sips (assisted) but we can't get more than 50ml down her that way. Or should I be systematically removing milk feeds at this point? If not, when? Gah, I'm so confused!
