I'd talk to your pediatrician, but ours says you don't really need to give them milk after a year as long as they're getting a certain amount of dairy from cheese, yogurt, etc. (I think it was 12 ounces? Not exactly sure because we give cow's milk, but I know she said we didn't have to.) Can your LO eat yogurt and cheese?

The daycare should provide whole cow's milk. You will want to tell them that it's time to start giving it to her.

LO is going to be 1 next week. After a long vacation she's started to refuse breast milk at daycare. We've tried bottles, sippies, straw cups and regular cups but she doesn't like any of them. I'm going to use this as an excuse to stop pumping

She goes from 9-3 every day, and still nurses at 6:30, 8:45, 3:30, and bedtime. She eats a lot of solids, too.

Do I need to send some sort of other milk to daycare for her or should she be okay with solids and water for those 6 hours? I know eventually we have to add milk, but she was MSPI so I'm leery.
