@travelgirl1: that would be great! looking the forecast this week, i can wait another week before getting it. although it has been nippy on our early morning walks (hence the motivation for this post), i can make do with a blanket for now.

i also found this one on amazon:
http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00ALSSCHE/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&psc=1&s=baby
however, it is 3 times the price, looks bulky, and has no reviews...

@blackbird: @pelikila: i can't find those covers for online sale in Canada :( thanks for the suggestions though. But i need something i can buy in person, or amazon.ca or ebay.ca

@californiadreams: That's the one  . It's really good, she was toasty warm even in snow storms. Do you want me to bring it to our next playdate so you can have a try with it?

I wore A the whole winter last year and I bought a fab cover from Jolly Jumper that hung around my neck and then covered A right to the bottom of her feet. It has a hood and furry lining too, I love it! If it was really cold I'd put a coat on her too but she often didn't need it.

i've found this one through google.

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/New-SNUG-AROUND-Baby-Carrier-Cover-fits-Ergo-Beco-Bjorn-/120765415232

the reviews on amazon say it is a bit on the thin side so not as good for winter, but i am wondering if i can put an extra blanket in there too and dress him warm.

i will check out the other suggestions on here too. thanks!

Last winter we were using the moby/ergo. I would put a hat on her, make sure she had on long enough pants that would cover all of her legs, and wrap her in my coat when possible. When I couldn't wrap her in my coat, I would tuck a blanket around her. Generally I just worried about her legs and head though. Body heat will keep the rest of her pretty warm!

I used to put her snowsuit on and wear my LO (with hat and mitts). I'd just adjust the straps so shed have more room for all her bulk! :)

I would put a sweatshirt on her and then wrap a coat around us both. She stays nice and cozy and warm in there as long as you make sure her legs/arms/feet/head/neck are covered. Body heat is amazing. :)

The weather is getting colder and I want to continue going for walks outside with my baby in the Beco. I also use the Beco for convenience when going grocery shopping/errands etc. so I often am outside with LO in the Beco for brief periods to walk across parking lots to my car etc.

LO was born last winter and I didn't really wear him outside then. It was just as easy to put him the car seat and stroller and cover him with blankets so he was warm.

My question is: how do you keep your baby covered and warm in the Beco? I have a good hat for him, and I will get him mittens... but I am hesitant to get one of those bulky/puffy baby winter coats as I imagine it will make wearing him more difficult. Also it will make strapping him in the car seat difficult when I drive him around (and when he is in the warm car and I am driving I can just give him a blanket anyway like last winter).

What do you do/use?
