Even the beach communities are hitting the 90s this weekend. We are supposed to get a bit of a relief later in the week but that is still high 80s. I agree, shorts, tanks, maybe a light cardigan. Definitely not sweater and coat weather yet here. It doesn't get cold in LA until maybe dec - and by cold I mean 60s. It has been the hottest summer I have ever experienced here! Pack shorts, dresses, skirts. You will not need a scarf.
