@cyndistar3: Oh, good luck! I'm really pulling hard for you. I was devastated about having to have a c section, so hopefully this works!

Well I went in and got the adjustment, it was super quick and painless and she said it seemed to open up my pelvis a lot. She also said the flip is most likely to happen when I am sleeping but I have a follow up appointment tomorrow morning. Hopefully it does the trick!

I also read that it is 50/50 and it sounds a little scary! Good luck with it!

@mediagirl: I read the chances were higher :/ Either way I would do just about anythin to avoid a c-section and I know my midwife would never have me do something that she thought would endanger the lo. Besides, I have had a ton of pelvic pain, maybe it will help!

I've heard it only has like a 50% or less chance of working. I had planned, if baby wasn't cooperative, not to do it if that happened to me. It's just scary, trying to move the baby!!

@bree72: That sucks hat no one would try to turn him :( I guess this chiropractor just moved to this area not long ago so I am pretty lucky. I just hope it's not too late!

I looked into it, but couldn't find a chiropractor close by to try it. I did try acupuncture, though, which made the baby move like crazy, but ultimately didn't work. They said I really needed to be closer to 34 weeks for it to be really effective, but I was 37 weeks before I found out he was breech. My doctor and midwife both said my best chance was finding a pool to float in as often as possible.

I didn't get much time to try it all, but it's a good thing your delivery team is willing to give you some time. Where I am located, none of the doctors will try and turn the baby, and they almost always schedule a c-section at 39 weeks. I've heard so many stories of baby's turning last minute (like my BIL, who turned the day before my MIL's due date), so at least you still have some time.

I just had my 38 week prenatal and my midwife suggested I go to the chiropractor to get an adjustment in hopes of helping the baby flip. Has anyone heard of this or had it done?
