We send the gift right to their home so they don't need to deal with getting one more thing home, but give a card at the wedding with a personal note and the gift we sent written in the corner. My questions are:</p> <p>1) should we send the gift direct to the bride's home?<br /> 2) if yes to 1, should we send the "hallmark" card at that time?<br /> 3) if yes to 1, but no to 2, is it weird to bring a "hallmark"card to a wedding that is not stuffed with money?</p> <p>Wondering why I am asking this myself? In the past I have brought the actual gift to the wedding, but I realize now that may be a hassle. We didn't register for gifts and the guests who gave us cards also put money in the cards. </p>
