I didn't want anything that couldn't go into the dishwasher-- nothing worse than having to hand-wash EVERYthing after a huge meal with guests in the house!! Most of my serving pieces are from that set of china. We also have a set of Corelle plates for everyday use and another set of slightly nicer plates just because I loved the design and it was on clearance at Macy's-- we hunted down every last piece by going to 4 or 5 different Macy's. </p> <p>I love china!</p> <p>We do not have a china cabinet or formal dining room, but I plan to have them in the future once our children are grown.
