@Dandelion: Yes she will be walking down by herself. She will have just turned 4. She is familiar with the people who will be standing outside of the altar so hopefully she doesn't freak when she has to walk!

Thanks for the tips!

@chopsuey - After reading @HabesBabe I will probably not wear her during the ceremony but maybe more during the reception. I will have a family member hold her

@HabesBabe - I didn't even thing about her being wiggly! Thank you!!!!!!!

I would totally have someone else hold her... I wouldn't want a little hand or a stray baby hair to get in a shot! And babies tend to throw tantrums at the most inopportune times... better to have someone walk away from her than to be shooting with her wailing or have to walk away and miss some shots. Plus you never know if DD1 will end up having a breakdown, too!

I agree with @chopsuey: - even though you can wear baby, that's a whole load of pressure on you.

It sounds like you have a good plan in place!

Is your oldest daughter walking down by herself? How old is she? The only concern there is that since you'll be busy taking her pictures, she may get stage fright and abort, lol.

I'm sure you'll have plenty of family around to give you an extra hand with them.

Oh, and definitely make sure to bring a change of clothes for your oldest daughter to the reception, if it's going to be a long one. She may start getting uncomfortable in her pretty dress.

wow! I would see if some friends/fam could help out with baby 2.
Or I would ask the bride/groom if you could bring a nanny/baby sitter along to help out with the baby.

@mrs.checkers posted about weddings with toddlers last night......and now I need some advice.
I will tell you the situation and then you can throw all of your tips at me! Ready?

In about 10 weeks we will be attending MIL's wedding. DH is going to be walking her down the aisle, and DD1 is the flower girl. I am the photographer. I will have a 5 month old DD2 with me. I can wear her, and I'm sure other family members will love to hold her and also play with DD1.

I don't really know what to ask as I have a million questions and what if's and what abouts in my head.....so just give me any advice you have, please! Thank you!
