Just saw a dated pic tonight with DS spending his first night at grandma's house when he was 2wks old.

I wasn't really breastfeeding to the point of trying to build my supply or anything though. This go round I'll probably keep lo closer longer to really build my supply.

I would totally go if I were you! =) Maybe do some trial over night stays so that when you go you won't be worrying about lo & you can really enjoy yourselves =)

My LO's almost 9 months old and we've never left her with anyone! My excuse is that she only breastfeeds so I can't be away from her for more than 3 hours.
I'm not sure I'd ever be able to leave my LO for the weekend. Sounds like a great idea though! :)

I think that would be a really healthy way to handle time away from baby for ou and DH to enjoy before heading back to work. Our baby is due in May and we are hoping to get a night out to see Phish in the fall (our favorite band ever!)

Our LO is due any day now....

We just received an invite for a wedding in March....a few hours flight away. No children are allowed at the wedding... DH thinks we should go and enjoy a mini-getaway before I return to work in April. My MIL says she can watch LO for the weekend and wants us to go since she thinks breaks for new parents are healthy!

Luckily, the RSVP isn't due back until Feb so I have time to decide!

How long did it take you to leave your LO for a weekend?
