@autumnlove: up to 24m is normal

32m and 27w?! Weird.

I think I stopped at 12w. After that I just said 4m.
I think I'd stop saying months at about...23m. After that is just say 2..

For those who are still doing months after 2, what is your motivation? Just curious, so I can understand :)

I think we started going by months after about 12 weeks, and we'll start using years after 2.

I still say months...mostly because of talking on here or FPIES groups. To the general public I usually say he is 2.

After 8 weeks I started going by months.
Sometimes I say my dd is 2, other times I say 27 months. I'll probably drop the months and just go by years now

I think years after 18 months ("X is 1 1/2... X is almost 2," etc.), months from 3-18 months, and then weeks from 0-12 weeks.

@autumnlove: 18 months sound totally normal to me! 32 months... I just feel like you should say my 2 1/2 year old. @brownie: I agree with you. I just hear some people talking about their 26 month old... why not say 2 year old? Then I don't have to do math:)

I think weeks goes up to about 3 months. Then months until 2 (though between 12 and 24 months I round right). Then at 2 it is years or half years rounded. So right now he is 2 but in a month or 2 he will be 2 1/2.

I was just at Costco, and there I was, trying to jam yet another case of Diet Coke into my cart, and this lady comes up to ask how old my twins are. I tell her that they will be 8 months tomorrow, and she starts talking about her 32 month old at home. I have another friend on Facebook that talks about her 27 week old.

I'm just curious, when did you stop referring to your baby in weeks? Months?
