Yes! I used to hate driving alone and being in traffic, and now if I'm alone in the car I don't even care about any of that. It just is glorious to be alone.

I love being alone now too. Can't even pee alone in my house without a little person banging on the door to get in, so I love eating alone, Starbucks alone, driving alone listening to MY music ... Hahaha.

@MamaMoose: Well, I was pretty anti-social pre-baby . . . but pp I am even more so! The only reason I like to get out of the house now is because I don't want LO to feel like a shut in! Today is our anniversary, and I am relieved that we are not going out to dinner . . . or even worse, the movies! :P

@chopsuey: I used to be suuuuuper OCD about the state of my makeup before I left the house, especially eyeliner/mascara . . . Now, as long as it's not too smudged/smeared/tarantula looking, I call it good!

Totally the same. I'm totally the anti-social one at work. And it sucks because everyone wants to hear about the baby.

LEAVE ME BEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Omg I'm so jealous. I would love to chill quietly alone in the middle of the day. :D

Before I became a mom I never went outside without putting make up on first. I don't wear much to begin with, but I had to put eyeliner on at least. I also had to wash my hair and shower if I went out too.

Now. .. lol.

I think motherhood has really reduced my social anxiety. I don't have time to worry about what other people think about me. Worrying accomplishes nothing so it has to go.

I'm currently sitting at a luncheon/presentation put on by a mutual fund company we work with. I'm alone at a table in a huge room of tables. In the past this would have made me sad and self conscious. Now.... I'm so psyched to have some time completely alone with no one talking to me, touching me, or needing something from me!!

Did motherhood make anyone else anti social?!? Tell me I'm not alone!
