I know fully that there's basically NO WAY the first test could've been positive (as I said, WAY early.) Just wondering if there's a difference in sensitivity between First Response and EPT (I've heard that the blue ink ones aren't as reliable?)

^ This. I once drove myself crazy because I plucked a test out of the trash and saw a faint line!

Ugh I hate when stuff happens that makes you question what's really going on. Blah!

Yeah, it's within the dates. If it's the only bad one, I probably won't bother calling. BUT if another one is faulty, I'll definitely do something about it.

There should be an expiration date on the box, I'd check it. If it's still in date, call them up. They should either send you free tests or a coupon for free tests! That sounds completely defective, how disappointing.

I took a pregnancy test WAY early - First Response. Neither line showed up, so I put the stick away in case the whole box is full of duds. Few hours later, there were two super-faint lines. So I got an EPT test. Lines showed up like normal, but not pregnant.

I don't plan on testing again until my period is late, but now I'm curious. Are First Response more sensitive than EPT? When not duds - I know the First Response one was faulty.
