The doctor said it was yeast from being moist and closed up all the time. Wash it regularly and use a little baby powder to keep it dry. If you notice a smell you may need to put some diaper cream on it to help it heal. My LO had that behind his knees when he was a baby. Cetaphil mixed with hydrocortisone did the trick. Also keeping it dry like pp said - so I would straighten his legs and elevate it on a pillow when he napped so the back of his knees got some air and wasn't bent and sweaty. That's kind of tough on the neck though. It doesn't seem to hurt her when I touch it but it looks really angry. </p> <p>Anyone else have a LO get something like this? It looks like a ligature mark!
