mine got really bad around 24 weeks & is mostly legs, torso & upper arms. i use a humidifier & slather myself in cetaphil cream (not the pump version) or cerave but i still can't stand to wear anything other than leggings/sweatpants. so much for the j brand maternity jeans & theory work pants i bought- such a waste of money. in addition to the daytime itching, my nighttime twitchiness seems to technically be restless leg syndrome, which dr google also says is normal.

Yep! Especially the tops of my hands, and obviously my belly.

Side note, I hate how Googling symptoms brings up "perfectly normal BUT could also be awful."

What about using a humidifier? That helped me out quite a bit, too!

Extreme itchiness in my hands was my first symptom! I read somewhere that it has to do with the increase in Estrogen (if it's not a rash or dry skin related.)

I've been fortunate and haven't had morning sickness yet (I'm 11 weeks), but my boobs get extremely itchy sometimes. It's always just one boob though, never both! haha!

Grandpa's pine tar soap:

http://www.amazon.com/Grandpa-Soap-Pine-4-25-Ounces/dp/B00028LN1K

I had horrible itchiness around week 32 and it turns out I had PUPPP which is a pregnancy rash. After using that soap for about a week I was much better. After two weeks the itchiness was all gone. Hope it works for you!

When I was pregnant I had the worst itch and eventually broke out in hives.. Lasted for 4 months! A trip to my OB, Derm, and allergist confirmed it was just part of my body's reaction to pregnancy, I ended up taking zurtec and claritin 2x a day for two weeks before they cleared up and then they reappear end pp for another week.

Yeah, I agree - it is worse when you don't use cream. I'm really lax with my body moisturising but I'm going to have to keep on top of it now!! If it takes 21 times to form a new habit, I might get myself into the swing of it for life - that would be great!

It's so weird!!!! The things that hormones can do to you is crazy! No-one ever tells you about this weird stuff!!!! :-)

I often notice wet spots on my pants that are blood stains from itching my legs :-/ even in the middle of the night I do it. Just lube up with some really good cream and that should help. I often notice it's worse when I forget to moisturize for like a whole week.

I had itchy skin, but it was due to the dryness of the season. I switched to Cetaphil cream and within a week, it was all gone!

Every day there seems to be a new symptom which, upon consulting Dr Google, I discover is "perfectly normal in pregnancy".

Today's weird symptom is itching. I'm itching!!!!! My face, my chest, my scalp - all itchy - but the worst bit is my legs!! Urgh! For two nights now I've not been able to sleep because my lower legs itch so badly - I want to scratch them until the skin peels off!

I've tried lotion and it's helped a little but they're still super itchy! It's so weird!! I'm getting all the freaky symptoms (serves me right for sidestepping continual nausea!).

Did anyone else get this??!!
