I only get clogs on the side that used to be pierced, but I'm not 100% sure it's related. It doesn't tend to bleed though. I mostly BF but when I pump and it's clogged I really have to massage it and usually it forms a little bleb that I have to also peel the skin off then good to go.

No experience with the piercing, but I EPed as well and the blood is normal with a clog. It's actually even safe to feed the milk to your baby if you need to - some women from an EPing group I was part of suggested letting the milk sit so the blood settles and then pouring it off. Here's a link to similar information: http://www.breastfeeding-problems.com/blood-in-breastmilk.html

I didn't have a lot of problems with clogs, but I did take lecithin for a while to help with it (supposedly helps with emptying faster too). You could try that if you have more problems.

I EP, and it's been confusing lately. For one thing, I've had major pain in my right nipple, and can't tell any reason. It isn't all the time, and feels kind of like when I've had a clog before. But I can't feel any knots like I have with clogs in the past, and I'm not getting hard spots where milk is building up and not able to drain.

Just now I was pumping, and I usually just let it time out (30 minutes). Right side (the painful one, also usually my better producer) was still spraying, so I turned it back on assuming I was in the middle of a let down. It kept spraying for a long time, at least another 15-20 minutes before I just was over it. I messed with my nipple a bit after, and felt something give like a clog popping loose, and blood tinged milk came out. I used to have nipple piercings, so this was coming out of the hole in the side, so the blood definitely wasn't from a crack on the surface or something.

I'm thinking maybe it was a partial clog slowing the output but not stopping it, so that's why the long time to mostly empty (I know it's ever truly empty, but it does slow way down). ?? But where is the blood from, and is it something to worry about? Has anyone with piercings had issues pumping? I'm confused.
