yup olive was the same way at that age. also if you recently sleep trained, then your baby is making up for being overtired and sleeping more! it's a good thing!

C is the exact same way! She's 9.5 months old and still sleeps 6:30-8:30am and takes 2 1.5 hour naps during the day.

Every baby has different sleep needs!

Sounds like he's getting lots of rest! My son could only stay awake 1:30 at that age too - probably around 6 months he was comfortable at 2 hours. Sounds great to me!

That sounds a lot like LMW at that age. Her playtimes were never more than 30 mins before we'd have to start prepping her for the next nap!! Don't be concerned about the 6pm bedtime... once LMW fell asleep for a nap at 4:45pm and slept thru the night, didn't wake up til 5am!!! I was a nervous wreck the whole time!!! You just gotta kinda ride it out and watch their cues until they get a little older and settle into a real regular napping pattern.

Yall....ok we're Weissbluthing it up around here and it is weirding me out how long my kid sleeps now. Before we were apparently keeping him up way too long....he now is active for around 45minutes-- 1 hr before he starts getting fussy, then by the time we eat and get him into bed, he's only up around 1 hr 30 minutes before napping. But he doesn't cry when placed down for a nap (he DID...ugh...but not now). Then at night he goes to sleep no later than SIX, wakes twice, and gets up around 7:30ish. Is this ok? He had been teething, does that make kids groggier? I feel like he is never awake!
