Somehow the conversation turned to her baby fever and how it was being fueled even more by two of our pregnant coworkers. I told her I totally knew what she meant and how it sometimes made TTC frustrating. She asked how long we had been trying (not that long) and if my husband had looked into getting fertility tests. I told her that since its only been a couple of months we're not concerned quite yet. And here comes my mistake. I corrected her and told her that he isn't my husband quite yet, we're still a couple months out until the wedding. </p> <p>Seriously she looked like a lightbulb flipped on over her head and out popped the little gem "well THAT'S why you're not getting pregnant." Uh, what?!? It was literally all I could do to keep my jaw from hitting the floor. I had no clue what to say to her. I know that there are a few people who dont agree with our decision to try before we're married, but who says something like that??</p> <p>Ugh. Just needed to vent. </p>
