Oh...teeth....DS1 got one at 8.5 months. DS2 isn't quite 8m but has none. And smiling - DS2 smiled at 7 weeks, DS1 at 8.

No - DS2 has done everything slower. He's months behind from his brother on rolling, crawling, walking. He definitely goes at his own pace.

Well my second is only 3 months but she seems to be a little ahead of her sister in using her hands, rolling, smiling and laughing. They were about the same for head control. Does sleeping well count as a milestone? If so baby sister beat big sister by miles!

Nope! Xander sat at 5 months, rolled well at 7.5, and crawled at 9.5 months. Logan didn't sit until 7 months and still doesn't roll or crawl. Maybe he'll be 2 months behind on everything??

Not at all. DS1 started crawling at 6 months, but didn't walk til 13 months. DS2 didn't even attempt to start crawling until 8 months, but was fully walking by 11 months. DS1 started talking pretty early on, while DS2 has just a couple words at 14 months!

No - my first two boys have both done things at their own pace. I don't exactly remember the timing but the second definitely got teeth sooner, walked sooner, talked sooner. I think the first was stronger early on and hit the gross motor milestones earlier.

It's so interesting that both of our boys (ages 3 and 8 months) seem to have hit milestones at exactly the same time. Rolling (exactly one day before 4m!?), sitting (6.5 months) and crawling (a few days before 8m....well, I may be jumping the gun here by R is rocking like crazy and I'm guessing it's "any day now")
