@mediagirl: Interesting... that's great info.

I guess I'm a bit intimidated b/c I don't have too much time to update Facebook and Twitter, and even 3-5 times seems like a lot to me.

@MrBee: I see the low number as "here's what's going on on our site today!" I see the higher number when you get into interacting with others on Twitter.

I followed you on Twitter. Ideal number of posts per day? I'd say keep it manageable - in the 5-20 range. There are some sites I won't follow b/c their Twitter Profile says they Tweet 100+/- a day. That just blows up your Twitter feed!

I like it when websites/business owners keep their business and personal lives separate. I used to follow a different website where the twitter user made very judgmental comments that had nothing to do with the site. This caused me to unfollow her, even though I missed getting the posts about what was going on on the site.

Thanks guys!

Let me know what you think of the Facebook postings in particular... I'm starting to upload pictures, because otherwise the page is kind of boring visually.

Thanks for posting about the color scheme and design of Hellobee on Facebook. I wouldn't have found that otherwise. I'll go comment on the page now.

You could probably just post on FB once in awhile , like 2-3 times a week. I rarely read my newsfeed so I really won't check most things unless I'm specifically looking for something I do think it's a great way to share content with others who are unfamiliar though.

Twitter - I honestly don't think there is a limit. I like the constant update feature of twitter. FB maybe once a day, not even that much, maybe just for major events or post-a-thons?

On that subject, what do you think is the ideal number of updates per day for a Twitter/Facebook?

Just shared your page! :~) I had sent the FB group invite to 10 of my friends/family that were brand new mommies (several of them still on maternity posting away on FB.) Then a few of them added a bunch of their friends. It's supposed to be new moms only but I see some that are second or third moms. Only a handful of us are posting but I know the rest are stalking. Also, it's automatic in...there's no approval process. It's probably easier for people to stay in the group then take the time to find a way out of it. :)
