We had the BEST time! It was totally great couple time because it was all beaches, eating, and just being together, rather than getting distracted by a ton of attractions. I think you'll have a great time!! I would be nervous, too, though! Just the private escape we need, we looked at some cruises and stuff but DH doesn't deal well with crowds so we certainly won't have that problem there, haha! It's a beautiful beach front house with 2 bedrooms and a full kitchen! We're going in March for a week. </p> <p>I'm already freaking OUT about leaving J for a week. We're going to make him a video of us, just in case something happens. I've already cried and it's months away. I have a feeling we're going to drink a lot to keep me from crying! :P </p> <p>J will be 9 months and with my Mom staying here at our house so we know he'll be safe and have his normal routine (she's his daycare provider), I just worry that we'll be so far away. BUT DH and I never got a honeymoon and we've honestly been in a pretty bad rut lately and need something like this for our marriage. Unless it turns into a really bad lifetime movie and I decide to go all blue-eyed butcher on him. TOTALLY KIDDING. Ok I should probably delete that...;) </p> <p>ANYWAY Just wanted to share how excited/anxious I am for this big trip! We've never gone anywhere just the two of us the whole time (in 6 years!) so it's a BIG deal. </p>
