Most of my friends have quite common names that I'm not really interested in using, or growing up there were already two to three of them (the whole Kelly C., Kelly H., and Kelly S. phenomenon) so there was no way I was going to add ANOTHER of them to the mix. The only one that sticks out to me is the name of my only major pre-husband "relationship" (unrequited love/bizarro friendship) who shares a name with quite possibly the biggest jerk I ever met in college, who ended up divorcing his adorable wife just a year after the wedding.
