We can even do homemade food items. I'm surprised to see so many people who were told not to. There's the option of bringing valentines for everyone else in the class, to be delivered in the parent folders, but I've noticed no one else does that. Just the 1 assigned valentine. The teacher provided a red fruit and veggie tray for an extra snack for the kids during the celebration where the valentines were passed out. But that was it. No sugar treats, no valentines passed out besides the 1 to each child. I did little goodie bags with bubbles, a sticker, fruit snacks and a bouncy ball. LO is going to be out of town for the party so she was able to pass them out before she left. She worked really hard writing all 20 of her friends names and her name and drawing hearts for them. They did give us a list of addresses in case we wanted to mail them to others. I thought this was kind of strange...at least have a rule that if you bring one, bring one for everyone? I loved exchanging valentines cards as a kid! </p>
