I had a rude awakening when I got to university and almost flunked out my first year! I had to LEARN how to study and wasn't used to competition. Which is probably why I stayed in college until I was 27. It is interesting that doing well in school was so important to me. My parents never pushed me to get good grades. I enjoyed most aspects of learning, but if a subject didn't interest me, I didn't see the point in learning it, so I wouldn't try. So I got C's in most sciences and maths. I got one C in AP calculus. I hated tht class. In college it was the same. Mostly A's and a few B's. Apparently I never talked about my grades though. At graduation they had cum laude and magna cum laude stand up. When I Did all my friends were shocked. I don really understand why I never hid my grades. I wasn't awful, but I was happy with mostly B's. Something changed in me for college though, I wasn't happy unless it was an A. If I got an A- I'd ask if I could do extra credit. I was crazy! </p>
