I was a total bookworm, and I had the stereotypical Asian parents where anything less than an A was unacceptable, even on midterm report cards that weren't even official! And since English was my strong suit, anything lower than a 97 raised eyebrows. Sigh. I did graduate as a Valedictorian from HS with a GPA higher than a 4.0 thanks to AP courses, so that was nice! I also took 12 AP classes. Nerd here. College I was a little more relaxed about grades, I had a lot more Bs. The dirty black mark on my transcript from college is from organic chemistry, with a C-. I was one of those kids who didn't need to study and still got As and the occasional B. I look back and think if I would have applied myself more I probably would have done a lot better!
