We are very relaxed in our house. The nurses in the hospital kept commenting on how nice it was that we were so easy going.

I have my moments, but parenthood has made me less of a worrier. I can naturally be a type A personality too, but I've really worked hard to not be as intense. My husband has been a great influence on me.

I think in part because of our personalities, C has followed suit. He has his fits, but for the most part, he is an easy little guy.

Extremely relaxed her entire life, although my husband is even more so. I have trouble around stressy parents too, with all the rules following and overconcern and omg. I cannot take it.

Oh I'm nuts, but it's all a running dialog of insanity running through my head (and my google search history.) I try not to let anyone but my poor husband see all the crazy.

Nope, I am a worrier by nature and thought I would be a crazy, anxious parent but I was so far from it, I even surprised myself. DH is always super relaxed and calm so it was no surprise that he continued that way once LO arrived.

I'm not sure if we were so relaxed because LO was such a easy baby, or if she became such an easy baby because we were so relaxed. Either way, we really enjoyed the newborn stage and can't wait to do it again.

@Mrs. High Heels: My foray into crazy town was directly tied to napping. I'm hoping that whenever #2 comes along I'll be too busy to care. Assuming LO's personality doesn't change, I'll be plenty busy :)

I'm a laid back person by nature, especially for stuff that's out of my control and that extended into both pregnancy and parenthood. I do find myself silently thinking "dial down the crazy" fairly often too; I just try not to let it slip out too directly ;-p haha

I was a nut-job!!! My family used to tell me to turn down the crazy all the time. I finally relaxed at about 3m and it's been getting better ever since. I think by one year, I wont even care if he is wearing clean clothes, let alone eating organic. I can totally see myself going *right* back to my old ways with #2 though. Crazy don't ever change ;)

I'm sure my husband would say I'm a hot mess of crazy though. But he doesn't have my awesome hormones, so he can keep his opinions to himself :)

I was definitely high strung in the newborn days. I'm terrified of SIDS, etc. As he's gotten older and having a video monitor, I can relax a little bit. My DH still thinks I'm high strung about the baby. I pushed for a doc's visit before we went on a plane when he was sick. That appointment resulted in LO breaking out in hives from Zytrec suggested by the doc or from the cold. We got an appointment with our primary peds who suggested Benadryl. Hives cleared up in less than an hour on it.

I'm a fairly high strung person, period. So I can only imagine it getting worse with my newborn. LO is only 8 days old, and I'm terrified of SIDS, and catch myself checking on her constantly. Also, spit-up scares the bejesus out of me. I do consciously try to turn down the crazy though!!
