we couldn't really do 2-3-4 because we had a hard time with LO's naps. getting him to stay up for 4 hours towards the end of the day was unrealistic given the short naps earlier in the day.

I follow 2-3-4 but generally the last stretch will be longer than 4. The earliest she goes to sleep is 7, no matter what time she wakes up from her last nap.

I did 2-3-4 but with 2 naps.. so it was: wake, 2hrs later nap, 3hrs after waking was another nap, 4hrs after that was bedtime. She didn't usually nap that well, but the schedule seemed to align with her typical sleepy times. How were you applying the schedule to 4 naps? I thought 2-3-4 was a 2 nap schedule.

My LO was definitely a crappy napper - 45 minutes on the dot. We tried 2-3-4 but it didn't really work out so well for us. We always ended up with 2/2.5, 3, and closer to 5 for the last awake stretch. When we were able we'd try to extend his naps by holding him.

When did you follow a 2-3-4 schedule with your LO? Is it possible if he/she is a crappy napper? Mine only sleeps 45 minutes for his naps and will fight the 4th nap.
