Totally! I stopped pumping at work when LO was 13 months. I still BF in the mornings, evenings and during the weekend. I didn't do anything particular...I just sort of blindly plunged ahead figuring my boobs would figure it all out.
The first few weeks I was sort of engorged at the end of the workday on Monday and Tuesday (I attributed it to BF-ing all day on the weekends), but nothing too terrible.
It was a delight to ditch the pump! Trust your boobs, they will adjust to your new BF-ing schedule.

We still nursed for six months with no pumping. The hardest was the weekend when she wanted to nurse more then just morning and night.

I only work two days a week but I do pump twice each day on those days. When I'm home, I try to only nurse AM/PM and give LO milk or water in between (he is 13 mos). So far, I think this is going well but I have definitely noticed my supply has dropped on the days that I pump so I don't know how much longer this will be sustainable. I also just got a BFP so I don't know if that will affect things either.

@locavore_mama: @pregnantbee: @MsLipGloss: @mediagirl: I'm glad it worked out for you ladies!

@purrpletulips: I hope it all goes smoothly for you! I currently pump twice at work. So I think I'll go to one pump a day for awhile (maybe even a month or two of that) before I stop pumping completely.

I also want to do this (except not drop pumping sessions, just drop daytime nursing sessions).

Yep. Stopped pumping somewhere around 11 months and she kept nursing 4-5x/day. We're down to 3x/day now at 15 months. :)

I am in the process of doing this right now. DS turned one 2 weeks ago and I dropped down to 2 pumping sessions per day instead of 3. I'll be going down to 1 session next week and then hopefully down to 0 by the second week in October. We still nurse morning and evening and I don't plan to stop that yet (honestly I don't think DS would let me if I tried as he has extended the amount of time he nurses during those two sessions).

I gradually dropped pumping sessions at work starting at around 8 months, and continued nursing morning and night during the week, and on demand on the weekends (I still gave LO a bottle here and there on the weekends). Now, at 12 months, I still nurse morning and night but I am really ready to wean. LO is not . . . at least not for the morning session, and she will comfort nurse for weekend naps.

ETA: I stopped pumping at work around 10.5 months or so.

I did feel like my supply took a huge hit, though it had been decreasing for a while even before I totally stopped pumping. I stopped pumping around 10 months and tried to continue AM and PM feeds, but there just wasn't much there and LO kind of lost interest too, so we were essentially done by 11 months.

Just did this last week. LO is 15 mo. Supply is still fine for nursing in the am and pm. Since I also don't want to pump mid-day on weekends, I stopped nursing then, too. Working for us, and he seems happy with whole milk or thawed BM from stash during the day.

@mrskc: I stopped pumping around 13 months and we are still nursing 2x a day, at least. LO is almost 17 months.

She wants it more now than ever before! I'm not sure if it's bc she knows the end is imminent or because there's not much? I actually have days where I still leak!

DS is turning one next month! holy cow how is that possible?! Anyways, I was thinking I would like to stop pumping at work once I can transition DS to cow's milk. But I would like to continue nursing him in the morning and at night. I just worry I'll dry up completely if I do this.

Were you able to stop pumping at work and continue nursing at home? Or did you dry up? Why do you think you were successful/unsuccessful?
