We knew that we were going to get married, and my grandmother had given me her ring for when the time was right. We had gone on vacation and had some romantic moments and DH was sorry that he didn't have the ring with him, so when we got back we had it resized. He was trying to come up with a good way to propose and didn't intend to do it for a while though.</p> <p>Every time we went somewhere or he suggested something for the first few days I was like "OMG is this it?!" not realizing his top contender idea would've been for something in August and it was March, lol. But then one night we ended up having a really emotional talk about us and he was so overcome that he decided he couldn't wait any more and ran to the safe and pulled out the ring.
