Mainly because my mom is a big socially active person and after church every Sunday, she just HAD to go around, glad-handing everyone, and talking SO LOUD (to me at the time).</p> <p>Now, I think it's pretty cool that she makes connections so easily. I got a lot of "Oh I didn't know you had an older brother!" and "Oooh who's that!? Is he single?" about my dad which always made me super embarrassed when I had to tell them who he really was lol.</p> <p>One awesome time though, he came to pick me up from a high school dance and one of the most popular girls in my grade asked him to dance! In fact they were more fun than me and I was worried my friends would like them more. Weird.</p> <p>Once my dad told off a boy in my junior high class for giving the teacher a hard time and I was embarassed because I knew my dad had bad breath. My dad is a small guy and he always get really close and invades your personal space to try to be more intimidating.
