I took a swim class in high school and there was one student who was goofy and annoyed the hell out of our gym teacher. The teacher called him names, blew the whistle at him, would talk over him as he would ask questions and was overall obnoxious. We all took a cue from the teacher and would laugh at the guy and by the end of the class we all called him by his pet name ( gym teacher's favorite name) and not his real name. I don't think I said anything mean to her but she might have felt bullied or teased by the group I was friends with. Oh, man, kinda sad that I did that.</p> <p>I was never popular or into sports. I didn't really have a group where I belonged. I wasn't super smart. I was in the smart (but not too smart) nerdy group. Oh, since I had self esteem issues, I might have had a lot of peer pressure but I was never the ring leader of the group so maybe I wasn't actively bullying. </p>
