I've had a fever and still BDed. We just don't put our faces next to each other so as to not pass along our sickness. That being said, I wouldn't ever try to get pregnant if I was taking any kind of medications. If I'm just icky sick feeling but toughing it out without meds then I'd still BD. (I was charting and it was TIME!) He was secretly and irrationally terrified his sperm was mutated by the fever during my whole pregnancy until our son came out completely perfect in every way. We were paranoid after two losses, so called the OB since I was ovulating. The OB said we should take the month off. I do not know if the issue was the antibiotics or the virus. I was not expecting that answer and was kind of ticked.
