I've always tried not to be, especially as we got closer to having kids, but sometimes you can't help it. I always have more sympathy than impatience or judgment for parents whose kids are being difficult in public, but I do judge if it seems like they aren't even trying (when really, I don't know if this is some technique, ignore them, or whatever). I get the revolving stuff around the kids' schedules so that doesn't bother me. But some stupid things go through my head, even just on facebook-- oh cute nursery, but does she know you aren't supposed to have a bumper in that crib? Hmm, he's barely 4 months old and they already started solids? I'd wait longer. (I have NO idea what their doctor told them and none of my business!). Oh, she's getting THAT stroller? Doesn't seem like a good choice their their lifestyle...
But I only think these thoughts in my head and never say it outloud :)

I don't have kids yet, but most of my friends do.. I try not to judge, but sometimes hanging out with one mom and her kids versus another, I can tell which parenting method I prefer. I would never say anything though, and am pretty much of the mindset "to each their own" since who knows what will happen when I actually have kids of my own!

@Bao: I recently turned down a dinner invite with friends because it would interfere with LO's recently implemented (and largely successful) bedtime routine/time. Yep, now I am *one of those* parents!

Yes, I tried not to be but of course it happened. And I still try not to be but I still admit that it does happen,

Yes, somewhat. I never understood why people couldn't just find a babysitter and go out. LO has only ever had family watch her. lol...I get it now.

Only those that did not control/monitor their kids in public, whether they be rowdy kids, or small children trying to cross busy city streets unattended!

I definitely was a little judgmental. I thought these things were annoying or weird:

Revolving plans around naptime
Not going to events after work
Talking about poop in casual conversation
