I haven't been super emotional about 1st birthdays for either DD or DS, but am a little sad that my DS that will soon be a middle child! He's been my little baby so it's weird to me that he will be a big bro. Now that DD is almost 3.5, she says things at times that make her seem so grown. With her, I realize how quickly time is passing :(

SO far definitely my first. I cried when he moved into 3-6 month clothing and I packed away his smaller clothes. This time, I was so happy to reorganize the dresser lol. I also am hoping to have a 3rd, so this hopefully isn't my last baby.

I wasn't emtional at all about my first getting older. My second is only 8 months old but I'm way more sensitve to the passage of time with her. I guess because I realize how heart crushingly fast it all goes and how much less time I feel like I spend with her compared to her sister. I'll probably cry when she turns one.

My oldest daughter is 3, and I was so so emotional in the days leading up to her birthday. I cried a lot! even when she was turning 6 months, I was like sob, she's halfway to one! Halfway to not being a baby! It's halfway over! I also had undiagnosed PPA/PPD so that may have played into it.

My second, I was doing really well until last week (she turns one on Wednesday). All of a sudden it hit me while I was rocking her to sleep that this was IT. My last baby, after this, there would be no more! I got so emotional and sat there crying. Which seems a little lame, but. I held her for a long while even though I was exhausted and wanted to crash.

If you have more than one, which birthday were you more emotional over?
