We were Team Green and I LOVED it! I'm a huge, anal retentive planner but this was one of the few occasions where I said that I have no control over this and it's not going to change anything we'd do leading up to the birth of the baby (we were going gender neutral for the nursery and all major purchases regardless) so we opted not to find out.

It was so much fun going through all of pregnancy, trying to guess if it was going to be a boy or a girl, picturing life with a son and then a daughter, and really, just enjoying the building anticipation leading up to baby's arrival and finally finding out if it was a girl or a boy!

We loved it and will definitely be TG for all future pregnancies.

We are team green and I am so excited to find out in 14 more weeks! My husband was set on being TG and I have always liked the idea of waiting until the birth. I haven't found it hard to wait at all, and our shower will be after the baby is born. I will go on record saying that I truly believe I am having a girl, but will be thrilled either way!

I'm too much of a planner to be team green. I don't even like surprises from my husband or friends for my birthday or anniversary... for some reason, knowing what's going to happen and the anticipation of it really excites me!

It was hard for me to even wait 18-20 weeks!

We were not team green for this pregnancy and I'm not sure we would ever be team green because although I like the idea of a surprise for baby #3, DH works in radiology and I've looked at enough ultrasounds to be pretty sure one way or the other. It would be really hard for us not to know unless we covered our eyes at every ultrasound. I'll think about it when it comes to that point though.

I have a girl now, and I reallllllly hope to have a boy next time, just to have one of each. If I got that, and then went crazy and decided to have more babies (not happening, but you know, in theory), I might go team green. If I've already got the full set, more would really just be bonus.

We're Team Green and one of the great things so far is that it's keeping me from buying too much. Plus, since our kids will share a room one day, it's easier to try to keep stuff gender neutral for a one-day second kid, when we don't know the sex of the first.

We were team green for S, and it was so amazing there is no possible way I would ever find out the sex of future babies before they are born. There truely is nothing like having your spouse tell you the sex of the baby moments after it is born. The emotions and excitement are so heightened! No amount of gender-specific planning and shopping could ever compare!

yep! currently team green. we obviously don't know and don't really have a feeling either way, but everyone else has their guesses (or more like they are convinced they know it's a boy or a girl). at least half of them are right!

we have only a few more weeks until we meet our baby, and at this point, the only reason we'd need to know if it's a boy or girl is so we can start using one of the names we've picked out.

I will never be team green, lol. I admire people that have the patience, but I could never do it. And DH can't either, he'd kill me if I said I wanted to, haha. I know a lot of people have fun being team green, but to me part of the fun of the whole experience is knowing what the sex is. I want to plan the girly or boyish room, I want to pick out cute, gender specific clothes and imagine my baby wearing them.

And on a more practical note, DH is giving me huge headaches about boy names. He admits that he dislikes pretty much every boy name. The discussions about it were getting so frustrating, so I've stopped bringing it up with him until we find out for sure whether we really need to come up with one we both like.

I've also never had that fantasy of DH telling me what the baby is. I'm more excited for us to find out together. And years ago when I was 10 I was staying with my Aunt while she was pregnant with her first child. I went along with them to the ultrasound when they found out the sex, and it was such an exciting moment to them, I can still clearly remember it.

We were Team Green and I would totally do it again. It was so exciting to hear them announce what we had after she was born. I was CONVINCED, like 99% convinced, the whole pregnancy that I was having a boy, so when they said it was a girl DH and I were hugely surprised. It was a really fun moment - especially amidst all the drama of L&D (mine did not go anywhere close to what our hopes had been!).

When I found out I was expecting with my first I just knew I wanted to find out. Everything was so new and scary that I needed one thing I could plan for. Now that we have DS, we are all about being Team Green for our current pregnancy. I knew right away that I wanted it to be a surprise. Maybe it's a confidence thing now...I know I can handle it regardless what gender he/she ends up being! Plus, since my babies will be so close in age (and I basically just went through this the first time around) we needed something to keep this pregnancy interesting/exciting. I can't wait to hear my husband say "It's a ____!!" in the delivery room!

We loved being Team Green! It was fun to have the surprise and guess and all that, but it was also useful to get so much necessary gear as gifts beforehand. Everyone sent cute girly clothes when she was born, but it let us get the useful gear at showers and kept me from going too crazy on gender-specific stuff we couldn't use for the next one. It'll be easy to be TG again, since all of the really tiny necessities are neutral. It really was a great surprise too, though! Everyone was CONVINCED I was having a boy - so much so that my MIL wore a blue sweater to the hospital and when my husband came out to announce the (definitely girly) name, my mom's first thought was "that's a funny name for a boy!"

I want to be team green, at least for the first one. I prefer gender neutral things - nursery, clothing, equipment so I don't see that as a problem. Beside that stuff, I'm not quite that knowing the gender would help me plan for.

Also, we have names picked out already (boy and girl) so if we did find out the gender then I'm sure we would think of our baby as our baby name. If we lose the pregnancy for some reason, I think it would be harder, if not impossible to use the same name for any future babies.

We found out the gender but kept it a secret from all our family and friends, which worked really well. We never told anyone our name choices before she was born, either. My sister is going team green for the first time with her third pregnancy - we can't wait to see if she'll be the first of 2 generations to actually have a boy!

We were TG for our first pregnancy bc that's what DH wanted. He had so little control over anything else that I thought it would be nice to do this one thing his way. It turned out to be a good thing bc I really wanted a boy and it turned out to be a girl, but I was so happy to have a baby that I didn't care. If I knew it was a girl all along I probably would have sulked all through pregnancy. Now that I'm pregnant with DC2 I'm not sure what we'll do. DH wants to team green again but if it turns out to be multiples I'm definitely going to find out.

like @Foodnerd81 we're currently Team Green, and for pretty much the same reasons... I like the idea of having gender neutral infant clothes and gear to hand on to the next LO, regardless of what they (or this one!) turn out to be.
I'm a BIG planner, but being TG hasn't been all that hard for me; I decided our nursery scheme (woodland/fox) before we even got pregnant, and I'm enjoying the fact that not knowing means I have to actively curb my buying to neutral things. I have a real aversion to pink anyway, but am a sucker for cute little boy outfits so probably just as well we're in the dark - and anyway, I can't wait to hear DH shout "It's a boy/girl!" when the time comes :-D
