Right after delivery, I can hardly remember anything. But I was on a high the first couple of days then felt like I crashed and was a crying mess for weeks. I can barely remember those first few weeks.

I felt amazing for about 10 days after giving birth. I even had an outing to my moms for dinner the day we were discharged! How I felt giving birth & directly afterward is the only thing that kept me even considering having more kiddos for months!

Yes, I was in a fog! I had pain that was unmanageable. :-(

Yes! I felt soooo strange. The tears would come on like whoa for no reason and I wasn't feeling sad. I remember the nurse asking how I was feeling and I said 'weepy.'

I was very in the moment. I don't think I "really" slept for 3 months. I wanted to be staring at her or holding her all the time. It was such a surreal time, all the sudden, you're a mom. Wow.

Gah, I had no idea what was going on. I do remember crying in the shower about 3 days PP, and DH heard me and actually came in the shower just to hug me (I love that guy). In the two hours or so after birth, I REALLY was out of it. My family came it to see the babies, and I had no idea what was going on. I remember thinking to myself that I should be more excited/anxious/anything, but I was just in a daze.

I was in such a fog for that first week or so after LO was born. Looking back now, I can see why I was crying so much! I felt like I was in a different reality.
