My first the tech was about 75% sure (we did an elective one a few weeks later to be sure, and she was right). With my second, two techs tried and couldn't tell. Surprisingly the OB present in the office was able to get her to move (but even then he said 90%). With my first at 20 weeks 1 day my baby was sleeping and wouldn't move at all so they couldn't see because the legs were tightly crunched up with the bum up. At the second I made sure I ate close to my appointment and drank juice. Legs were crossed at the second one which was at 23 weeks 5 days. Both times they were certain of the sexes (and were right with DS, DD is still baking so no official confirmation but it was the same we were told at the elective). We had 2 technicians in the room and they both agreed girl at 20 weeks! Had a follow up at 22 weeks due to stubborn baby not letting us get all the pictures we needed, and still girl.
