Sadly, no. Labor started (as far as I was aware) around 2am and I hadn't fallen asleep yet. We went to the hospital at 4:45am and he was born at 1:13pm- no sleep at all because I was too excited!

No, it was a big mistake on my part. My contractions started around 3 am and I was all 'is this labor, should i wake DH, no I should let him sleep till it's time'. And then during the day I was nervous and had a Drs appt and then took a long walk and went out to dinner and then contractions just kept getting worse. I couldn't sleep that night because the contractions were getting semi painful and I was nervous and when I finally decided to lay down my water broke at 4 am.

Not really. Water broke at home at 5:30 p.m. I'd been out doing errands earlier and hadn't been sleeping well in the days before.

Not at all. I slept terribly the night before, went in for a routine visit, and got sent over to L&D for an induction because of high blood pressure.

No! I had 5 nights of false labor from 1 or 3 am till 7 am then 37 hours of consistent contractions just to get into active labor with 8 more hours on top of that before P was born. I rested between contractions & in early labor while I could (we did NOT push labor along) but I was still pretty exhausted by the end. Great part was the awesome hormone & endorphin change I felt immediately given I was unmedicated & I wasn't tired at all when P was born! :)

My contractions started at 6:45am and I had gone to bed around 10 so I was pretty well rested. I slept maybe an hour in the hospital after she was born though.

Nope! I'd been up since 6 am on a sunday. went to a friends party and did shopping at Home Depot in active labor! I kept tellin myself it was just gas. At 11 days late I was convinced I'd never give birth. Needless to say DD was born at 3:13 on Monday with no sleep....

Kind of... I had been on bed rest so I was spending a lot of time sleeping. I would sleep 5-6 hours at night, be awake for a couple hours, take a 2 hour nap, then up for a few more hours and that was the entire last week of my pregnancy. I hadn't taken my nap of the day when I was called in for an induction, but I'd slept fairly well. I was exhausted when it was all over, but couldn't sleep when I finally had the opportunity to.

No, labor started at 11:30 PM when I went to go to bed :( I was so tired by 8 am I couldn't stop shaking - part of why I got an epidural! (which was amazing)

Nope! I was induced on a Tuesday night with cervidil and I was too excited to sleep...and I was on HB! Haha..
http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/tuesday-night-post-a-thon
I needed a second dose of cervidil in the morning and I was exhausted when my contractions started....it was a long day that led to the next morning. LO was born around 5am on Thursday by C-section...I was running on fumes and in desperate need of quality sleep!

My contractions started around 4:30 am last time so I got a full night's rest. Then I labored at home all day until 8 pm so I took a lot of naps. That was pretty ideal in terms of me being well rested.

I really fear that I'll go into labor at the end of a work day when I am totally exhausted this time around. That would not be ideal!
