I don't understand why felt compelled to have to say things like that. UGH!! </p> <p>Most of my friends have been really really supportive. All but one. She would say things like "You're being so annoying about that. You just need to relax." She has a completely different parenting style. She kept telling me to throw the books away and that kids are not black and white. It was annoying. Now as a mom of 2, I actually kind of agree with her! Did she even offer any advice?</p> <p>I'm a compulsive googler and I would just consult Internet resources rather than my mom friends. A lot of my friends are much more go-with-the-flow and more AP than I am so while I could vent, I really couldn't get the advice I was seeking. A friend made that comment 3 months ago, and it still irks me today! </p>
