I fought bed time like the plague because I thought they were having a big fun party without me! My mom was really strict that we had to be in our pjs with teeth brushed and ready for bed by 8. But we could stay on the couch as late as we wanted. Well her little Jedi mind trick worked like a charm on me because I fell asleep in about two seconds when there wasn't any pressure. By high school though I could go to bed whenever I wanted. Then it was 9:00 until I moved out at 18. I went to bed at 7:30 until who knows when. I remember being 9 or 10 and begging to be allowed to "stay up" and watch Full House on TGIF (which came on, at like, 8:00 PM). I think I had an 8PM bedtime until I was at least in grade 9. Lied to all my friends though, and told them it was 10. Weirdly enough, I never questioned my parents about it, which is probably why it lasted as long as it did. And I remember staying up really late when I was very young (5ish) past 10pm. My parents weren't that strict with bedtimes like we are now. I always went to bed pretty late, and I've always been a night owl! What about you?
