I just wanted to update that we are having to start over with getting her to sleep on her own. She had the disruption with rolling over then got a cold. Now she'll only nap on me and is waking up 6-7 times a night. I'm starting over with getting her to either sleep beside me instead of on me or getting her to at least fall asleep on me and transfer to her bed.

@mrbee: Ugh, that article reminds me that she may be teething too! She's chewing EVERYTHING and drooling like crazy. She's also fussy and clingy. Thanks for the article though! We've given her floor time but maybe we'll give her a bigger space to roll around since our living room is crowded.

I think you should be okay. As @mrbee said sleep gets bad right around the time they are working on milestones.

She just needs to get used to rolling - it affected my LO's sleep for just a few days

Developmental milestones tend to be pretty disruptive to sleep. :( There are some good tips online... here's a quick link!

So I was super excited at LO rolling back to belly yesterday (and I still am). However, it's caused a napping issue.

She was able to sleep in her bed, on our bed, etc for the past couple weeks as long as we put her to sleep. However, she's started to nap on me again. Why? Because when we lay her down, she wakes up, rolls over on her tummy, and gets excited (I know, it's super cute).

As she gets used to rolling, will she be able to sleep on her own again? Or do we have to teach her to do that all over again? She's sleeping fine at night (although still with more wake-ups than usual but no rolling and I can get her back to sleep fairly easily).
