I was gonna say play with water, whether in the bath or out. We let my 18 month old stand on a stool at our bathroom tap with it on to a trickle with a selection of cups and whatnot and he’s good for a while. They both had fun with a giant box our freezer came in too. Remote controls with lots of buttons but batteries out could work too.

WFH with my kids home is all about grabbing 15-20 minutes of solid work between interruptions. I will put them in the bath and sit on the floor with my laptop (out of the splash zone) out of direct eyesight but close enough that I can make sure they are safe. I’ll give them swimsuits and swim goggles if they want and might do this a couple times a day. 🤷🏽‍♀️

When I need to be on a call nothing works except screen time...

Bit of a spin-off from the coronavirus thread. I’m trying to prepare for the possibility that DH and I will have to WFH without childcare over the next couple weeks. DS is almost 2 and will play independently for a good length of time, but we know we are in for some long days. DH and I will probably take turns working, but to maximize our working hours I’m trying to brainstorm things DS can do with minimal supervision - I’m picking up some mess free markers and stickers (and resigning myself to listening to him watch Frozen 2 on repeat). Anyone have other suggestions?
