BUT he told them I was thinking about staying at home but that we weren't sure if we can make it work on one income. I was kind of pissed about that! For one, it's not his employer's concern and while yes I am thinking about it (not sure if we can afford two in daycare) I don't want others to know that! Or it to look bad if I don't. </p> <p>Grr. </p> <p>LO will only nap in my arms but at least he is sleeping. We took him to the doctor and she tested for flu and RSV. All of his vitals were fine but it's obvious he is so much worse today. I know there isn't much they can do for a virus but it still would make me feel better knowing. </p> <p>The house is a disaster. All I want is an hour to clean without LO crying at my legs. I told DH I want his dad to bring over takeout tomorrow and I want an hour to go to Target to buy some up and up wipes because I have a coupon!</p> <p>Ahh the glamorous life. If I wasn't pregnant I would want a HUGE chocolate stout. Mainly sewing and knitting dresses and buying an American girl doll. But I'm excited about boy 2! We didn't agree on a girl name so that saves that! And I get to keep calling them my boys. </p> <p>DH is asking for his raise today. Eek! He used to work for the state which had a pay freeze for five years or so due to the recession and his position was way over due for a raise. Then when his contract was up he started at a private firm for a similar salary and the state gave everyone a 10% pay raise! So he is going to ask if they would keep on pace with the entry level salary for the state, which I think is more than fair. Because if they say no and DH leaves they woukd have to pay an incoming person that anyway. </p> <p>LO slept a tad better last night. He was up 3x before midnight and once after that. He is burning up right now. He's never had it before, but it seems like it's a pretty bad case. The steroids didn't help at all. Monday he threw up on me five times, yesterday once (from coughing so hard). </p> <p>We have over a foot of snow on the ground so I've only left the house since Saturday to go to the doctor. </p> <p>LO cut three teeth this week!</p> <p>My plan for sick child care fell through and so I had to take the week off work. I had a big project due. But goodness I would looooove to go to work today and just be able to SIT!</p> <p>DH couldn't take off because he is asking for a raise this week. I'm kind of nervous. I don't know if they will give it to him, but he is so underpaid that he will probably have to look elsewhere if he doesn't. Which means starting a new job and no paternity leave!</p> <p>My FIL is coming to stay with us Friday. My floors need mopped so badly, they are disgusting!</p> <p>On the bright side...we find out the baby's sex today!! We were green last time, so it will be interesting to see how this experience is. (Though its totally DH who wants to find out - I could wait. But if its a GIRL I have some newborn summer dresses I'm gonna start knitting TONIGHT! I think a boy will get booties.) </p>
