One major change is that my career means so much less to me now. I am out of there ASAP at the end of the day, and dot volunteer for things like I used to. I don't know if I will ever get back to the "old" me, but I recently took one of those personality type quizzes again and I didn't know how to answer. </p> <p>Questions like, "When planning a trip, do you always have to plan ahead, or do you like to go with the flow?" Well, before kids I definitely flew by the seat of my pants. I would have described myself as spontaneous bordering on hippy/flakey. Now after having 2 kids, trips are planned with military precision based on potential rest stops with good bathrooms and eating choices; or flights agonized over for best times in conjunction with nap and bed times.</p> <p>So I answered every question the way I am NOW, not the way I was the first 32 years I was alive, and the result was a person unrecognizable to me. Like it said I like to have everything organized, and I worry about details, and I am a homebody. And none of those things are my real personality, it's just how I feel forced to be after having kids. Disney movies, yup! ASPCA comercials, yup! DS smiling at me all lovingly, yup! I swear before pregnancy I could count on one hand the number of times I've cried in my adult life. I blew that number out of the water the first 2 weeks of DS life. </p>
