We didn't have a single nap without me holding her until then. Then she magically took a 3 hour nap and we were sold. BUT she had excellent head control, so I wasn't that worried. She started sleeping on her stomach at night around 4 months... when we swaddle weaned. We put her down on her stomach and then she rolls and flips and flops throughout the night. Now she flops from her side to her belly, rarely do I find her on her back. She didn't start any of this until she was ready to be unswaddled. I didn't even know he could roll onto his side at that point! He rolled from back to belly for the first time ever at 6.5 months...in his crib of course! Our pediatrician said it was fine as long as she was able to roll on her own.
