He would just chew on the spout and not tilt the cup back in the beginning. Then we tipped it for him as he learned to suck the water out. He perfected the sippy cup at 6.5-7 months. He used to be able to drink out of straws too but doesn't seem as interested in it as his Nuby sippy cup. The lolla has a hard to screw on top and the handles are inconvenient. For the take and toss, I buy plastic straws and cut them shorter to fit so there are no straws to clean since I use a new straw every time. I did a search and Mrs. Bee likes the lolla better because the zoli was hard to clean. He will only use it if I feed it to him. I tried a hard spout one and he just gnawed on it.</p> <p>But if I feed him from a glass he loves it!!
